You can delete your YoFluent account and everything we hold about you at any time. This page explains how, what is removed, and what to do about a subscription.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open YoFluent on your phone or on the web and sign in.
- Tap your profile icon, then Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The app shows what will be removed first, and tells you about any subscription before it deletes anything.
Can’t open the app? Ask us to delete it
Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my YoFluent account”, from the email address you signed in with (or tell us the Google or Apple account you used). We confirm it’s you, delete your account, and reply when it’s done, in any case within 30 days.
What is deleted
- your account and sign-in, including the details we received from Google or Apple;
- your conversations, call transcripts and voice recordings;
- your scores, feedback reports, estimated level and progress;
- your saved words and review history;
- your profile and preferences (goal, interests, level, accent, reminders).
If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke YoFluent’s Sign in with Apple access when the account is deleted. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.
What we can’t delete
We never see or store your card details. Payment and purchase records kept by Stripe, Apple or Google belong to them and follow their own retention rules and privacy policies.
Your subscription
- Subscribed on the web: it is cancelled automatically when your account is deleted.
- Subscribed through Google Play or the App Store: deleting your account does not cancel it. Cancel it in Google Play or Apple subscriptions first, so you aren’t charged again.
Just want to remove Google access?
In your Google Account, open Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services and remove YoFluent. That stops sharing; to erase your YoFluent data as well, delete your account as described above. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
