What is SmallTalk2Me?
SmallTalk2Me is an AI speaking-practice website: you talk into your microphone and the AI assesses your fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, then tells you what went well and what to improve. Its tools include an IELTS speaking simulator that practises all three parts of the exam, a mock job interview where you record answers to common questions, and an English level test that returns a CEFR score with a report on your strengths and mistakes.
It also lists programmes such as a small talk course, business English for meetings, and courses for immigrants. Note: “SmallTalk” by Little Limited on the App Store is a different, unrelated app.
Is SmallTalk2Me free?
You can start without paying. The site says signing up requires no payment and gives instant access to all practice modes, and the level test and account are free. A testimonial mentions a “Pro plan”, but the page does not say what it includes or what it costs, and its navigation has no pricing link.
We therefore cannot quote a price. Before you pay for anything, check what the free account limits (for example how many sessions you can run) and read the plan details inside your account, including the renewal and cancellation terms.
The IELTS speaking simulator: what to expect
The simulator practises all three parts of the IELTS speaking test and gives an instant estimated band score, with feedback on the four speaking criteria (fluency and coherence, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation). Treat the score as a practice guide: it is an AI estimate, not an official result, and the site’s accuracy figure is the vendor’s own claim. Use it to find weak areas, then check your progress with a human or a full mock test.
