What is Supernova AI?

Supernova AI is a spoken English app built for Indian learners. Its listing describes 30-minute daily lessons, role-plays and speaking exercises, with an AI tutor, Miss Nova, who corrects your grammar and pronunciation and explains in your mother tongue: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and others.

Besides the app, Supernova sells yearly courses on its website: an adults course with “100 AI English activities” and two coaching calls a month with a personal mentor, and a kids course with a dedicated English teacher on WhatsApp. Both include an e-certificate.

Is Supernova AI free or paid?

Both. Supernova AI is free to download, and you can start learning without paying. To unlock the full course and unlimited practice, you pay, either for Supernova Premium inside the app or for a yearly course on the website. We found no free trial on the official pricing page, so treat the free part as a way to try the first lessons, not a free course.

Several in-app prices is normal: the price shown depends on the plan length and the offer in the app. Check what the screen says before you pay, and note whether it renews automatically. With GST, the adults course comes to about ₹10,619 a year (18% GST), or roughly ₹885 a month.

Is Supernova AI safe?

Supernova AI is a real Indian company’s app on both official stores, not a scam. Like most apps that listen to your voice, it does collect personal data, so it is worth knowing what:

• Google Play data safety: data is encrypted in transit, and you can ask for your data to be deleted.
• App Store privacy label: the developer says it collects contact info (name, phone number), identifiers, usage data, audio and payment info, and that contact info and identifiers may be used to track you across other companies’ apps and sites.
• Payments in the app go through Google Play or the App Store, so you can cancel a renewing plan in your store subscriptions.

For children, the kids course includes a WhatsApp teacher, so a parent should manage that contact.

What Supernova AI does well

• Explanations in your mother tongue. For beginners, hearing why something is wrong in Hindi or Tamil is much easier than reading it in English.
• Built for India. Examples and situations (interviews, introductions, daily life) match what Indian learners need.
• Structure. A daily 30-minute lesson plan suits learners who don’t know where to start.
• Low entry price through Premium in-app purchases, from ₹99.
• Human support on the paid course: mentor calls for adults, a WhatsApp teacher for kids.

Where Supernova AI falls short

• Mostly for beginners to intermediate learners. If you already speak with confidence, lessons and mother-tongue explanations matter less than long conversations in English only.
• Prices are hard to compare. Many Premium prices in the app plus separate yearly courses make it difficult to know the real cost before you start.
• Accent choice isn’t a focus. The listing doesn’t mention choosing an American or British model voice to copy.
• Phone apps only. We found no web version for practising on a laptop.
